Why, o why is Gwen a mesmer?
Why did Anet make the Gwen hero a mesmer? I wanted to use her, not have her gather dust.

who needs interrupts or armour ignoring DoT or warrior and caster shutdown? All we need is the holy trinity - W/MO mending, E/ME double echo nuker, MO/W Healing Party.

If you did pre-searing you would remember talking about how she wants to grow up to be a mesmer because she likes the pretty clothes. I would guess that's why she is a mez.

Just beacuse shes gwen I started to take her with me and I am glad I did, she interrupts like no other, and she dominates every battle i fight in. Inspirational really, and I have no other puns I can think of.

Gwen was originally a Monk as you could take her anywhere and she would heal you up.I guess after the searing she decided to become a Mesmer.
It could be a way to promote the use of Mesmers in PvE. |

Bah, more pointless and out-dated mesmer hate. Hopefully Gwen's high profile will force people to realise mesmers r0x in PvE too. If they don't my mesmer vanquisher will eat his mask.
